- 1. During the early '80s while I was traveling on the east coast, North Carolina to be specific, I was watching an early morning talk show. The host looking dapper in his 3 piece suit interviewing a guest said in part during the course of their conversation, " yes, I "recomember" way back when... at which point the guest interrupted him and said, "you mean you remember when..." the host restated the word and once again the guest corrected him an stated "there are two words here, remember and recollect..."
